August 14th Update: 107 New Cases

One Hundred and seven positive cases have been reported in India today. The number of new cases has gone back to three digits. However Pune recorded a low number of cases, just 4, which is a significant improvement. Naned, Dhule, Latur, Surat and Panchkula record their first cases today.

The total number of cases rises to 1390 out of which 648 cases have been cured.

Out of the 29 cases reported from Mumbai, 28 are indigenous cases. Thirteen cases have been reported today from Delhi, out of which 11 are indigenous cases. In Bangalore, all of the 9 cases are indigenous cases with no foreign travel history. Two cases in Mangalore are indigenous cases as well with no overseas travel history.

Of the 13 cases from Hyderabad, eight are indigenous cases with no overseas travel history. All the six cases reported today from Kolkata are indigenous cases with no overseas travel history. Ten cases are reported today from Gujarat, five each from Ahmedabad and Surat, all of which are indigenous cases with no known travel history abroad.
