August 22nd Update: 131 New Cases

A total of one hundred and thirty one confirmed cases of swine flu were reported in India today. This marks the third consecutive day of reduction in the number of infections reported. The total number of cases reported in the country is now 2669. The health ministry has not reported the number of cured cases. The total death count is at 53.

New cities in the infection list today: Gadag, Nabadwip, Kochi, Kasargod, Alapuzha, Pattanamthitta, Kotayam, Bilaspur and Indore
