August 27th Update: 123 New Cases of Swine Flu in India

One hundred and twenty three new cases of swine flu have been reported in India today. This takes the total number of confirmed cases to 3396. Three deaths have been reported taking the toll to 78.

A number of readers have mailed us asking to report the citywise infections. We would definitely like to continue doing that. However the health ministry has stopped releasing citywise infections. We are in touch with the government authorities to provide us data. Hopefully we should revert back to reporting information by city.
