August 29th Update: 218 New Cases on Swine Flu in India

After staying below the 200 mark for over a week, the number shot up to 218 today. Maharashtra reporting the highest number of cases of 60 followed by Delhi at 44 and Andhra Pradesh at 29. The total number of cases rises to 3735.

Five deaths have been reported taking the toll to 87. This is the official figure from the health ministry although a number of private channels are reportina higher death count

Yes Tandra, No new cases on 29th in West Bengal, but 10 new cases on 30 August - Total at 60
