August 3rd Update: 7 New Cases

Seven positive cases were reported in India today: This takes the total number of swine flu patients to
558 out of which 470 have been cured and discharged.

One 11 year old male, of the two cases in Delhi is a contact case of a previously reported positive case. The other case is a 21 year old male who travelled from Sharjah.

Of the three cases in Pune, two are school students who are contacts of the school children reported positive in earlier reports. The third case is a 26 year old male who travelled from Frankfurt to Mumbai

The case from Chennai is an eight year old male who travelled from Muscat

The case from Ahmedabad is a 27 year old female doctor working in Sola Civil Hospital Ahmedabad who was on the airport screening duty, reported with symptoms of influenza like illness on 30th July.
