A total of one hundred and thirty one confirmed cases of swine flu were reported in India today. This marks the third consecutive day of reduction in the number of infections reported. The total number of cases reported in the country is now 2669. The health ministry has not reported the number of cured cases. The total death count is at 53.

However it is lower than the highest single-day count of 220 reported two days earlier. New cities with infections today - Rajkot, Buldan, Beed, Jamnagar and Daman. Chennai records a high 30 infections.
