After going down consecutively for four days, the number of swine flu cases reported today rises to one hundred and thirty seven. Chennai records the highest number with 41 cases. The official number of deaths reported is 63 although a number of newspapers are reporting higher number of deaths. The total number of infections has now risen to 2909.

One hundred and thirty eight confirmed cases have been reported in India today. It is interesting to note that the number of cases have been reducing in the past 2 days.
