What are we trying to achieve by not reporting swine flu death toll statistics in Bangalore & karnataka? On 6 Sep death toll in Karnataka is 7 ( as per abive news) - but that does not reflect in the deth toll published. Death toll was incremented from 41 to 43 from Sep 5 to Sep 6 in TOI & other newspapers. With only few hospitals to screen & no proven vaccine: we can keep chanting the "Don't panic" mantra & not publish exact death toll - so that Bangalore will not be the swine flu capital of India. We can see a conscious effort to avoid publishing the exact death toll. The schools have not been directed to close down despite the mounting toll. We cannot wake up those who are pretending to sleep in a fool's paradise.

is it a true no of deaths purely due to h1n1? because many patients had other medical problems and swine flue was the opportunistic infection.so can anybody give the correct statistics of deaths only due to swine flu?
