September 9th Update: 214 New Cases

Two hundred and fourteen new cases of swine flu were reported in India today. Tamil Nadu reports the highest number with 69 cases, followed by Delhi with 36 and Karnataka with 35. The total number of cases in Delhi stands at 999. Maharashtra tops the list with 1885 cases and 67 Deaths.

Five Deaths were reported today two each in Maharashtra and Karnataka and one in Gujarat. The total number of deaths stand at 142.
