August 30th Update: 128 New Cases

One hundred and twenty eight new cases of swine flu have been recorded in India today. Uttar Pradesh records the maximum number of cases at 27 followed by Delhi at 22. The total number of cases in the country rises to 3881. The death toll stands at 93 with 6 being reported today.

Hi, do u see any trend in the no. of cases being reported ? I mean like cases suddenly jumping on weekends (sat & sun) as people go out and travel.

Hari,

The actual infected cases could be more than reported. Since now more testing center is available and the increased awareness among people and increased expertise from Doctors contributes more findings.

We need to be very cautious for sometime or until we get vaccine
