September 2nd Update: 97 New Cases

Ninety Seven new cases of swine flu were reported in India today. The number of cases has fallen below 100 after a gap of 15 days. The last 2 digit figure was reported on 18th August. It was then 99. However 5 deaths were reported today, two each in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra and one in Karnataka.
