August 6th Update: 19 New Cases

Nineteen new cases of swine flu have been reported today. All nineteen cases have been from two cities Delhi and Pune.

Delhi had 11 cases while Pune had 8 confirmed

Out of the eleven cases in Delhi, ten cases [7/M, 8/M, 8/M, 11/F, 13/M, 14/M, 18/F, 26/M,26/F and 30/M] are contact cases of previously reported positive cases and have no travel history. The eleventh case is a 25 year old male who travelled from Chicago.

Out of the eight cases in Pune, seven [8/F, 10/F, 11/F, 12/M, 13/M, 14/F, 35/M] are contact cases of previously reported positive cases and have no travel history. The eighth case is 45 year old female who travelled from Frankfurt

The total number of cases rises to 615 while 487 have been discharged.
